Jhansi: Commissioner started pond digging work at village Digara development block, Baragaon

Commissioner Subhash Chandra Sharma on Saturday, while instructing the officials present during the inauguration of the pond digging work at village Digara development block, Baragaon, said that in every gram panchayat should have work in each hand. He said that there should be more focus on migrant workers / workers and they should be provided employment, assessing their efficiency. MNREGA along with ponds should be made in other villages. Women should be linked to the group, as well as benefitted in the participatory scheme for the protection of destitute cows. He said that the workers / workers of the district should be identified according to their efficiency so that they can be provided employment.
Commissioner Subhash Chandra Sharma told the villagers who came to dig the pond to keep a distance in the work and keep masks or skirts tied to your face so that you can avoid the corona virus and also protect others. He directed the officials present to take up other works under MNREGA as well and said that thousands of migrant labor workers have come to the district, giving employment to all is the priority of the administration. In MNREGA works, water conservation, water augmentation, bungi construction works should also be taken up.
Directing the Panchayati Raj Department, Commissioner said that if the incoming labor workers know the work of the plumber, then they should be engaged in the work of improving the hand pumps of the area so that the hand pumps which are defective can be rectified as soon as possible. Keeping in view the efficiency of the workers / workers, a plan should be prepared in such a way that no workers / workers are left vacant. Everybody gets work. The work of digging pits etc. should be started from now by including tree plantation in MNREGA so that the target which can be achieved can be met.
JDC Chandrashekhar Shukla, DDO Ugrasen Singh Yadav, Deputy Commissioner MNREGA Ram Avtar Singh etc. were present on the occasion.
